Brendan Kelly resides in Annapolis, Maryland and is also the team’s president. After purchasing the team in February of 2010, he changed the team name to the Chesapeake Bayhawks. The change made to the name has helped to encompass the entire Chesapeake region of Maryland, northern Virginia, Delaware and the Eastern Shore. After attending Mount St. Joe High School, Brendan went on to Salisbury University where he was part of the 1995 National Championship team. After college, he played five years in the USCLA for Team Smartlink. He then coached in the league, leading Team Smartlink to four championships. Kelly also coached the Smartlink team to eight Ocean City Lacrosse Tournament championships. Kelly took over as Bayhawks head coach midseason in 2010 and led the Bayhawks to their first MLL title in 5 years.

Dave Cottle

Dave Cottle, Bayhawks President, spent 19 years coaching at Loyola College, leading the men’s lacrosse team to 181 wins and 14 consecutive appearances in the NCAA tournament. In 2001 Cottle was named the men’s lacrosse head coach at the University of Maryland where he remained through the 2010 season. During that time, the Terrapins saw 99 victories and 8 consecutive NCAA playoff appearances. A Salisbury University graduate, Cottle started with the Bayhawks in July of 2010 as a consultant.

Spencer Ford

The Bayhawks General Manager, Spencer Ford, is also a former MLL player. His tour through the MLL began in 2001 with the Bayhawks, and in 2006 he moved on to the Rochester Rattlers. In 2007, Spencer joined the LA Riptide where he earned the MLL Most Improved Player of the Year award, broke the single season record for assists in the league, was named to the 2007 All-Star Game, and earned a spot on the All-MLL Team.  Spencer made his second All-Star team with the Long Island Lizards in 2008 and his third with the Bayhawks in 2009. A Baltimore native, Spencer attended Towson High School and graduated from Towson University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. As a member of the Towson University lacrosse team, Spencer earned the All-American and 1^stTeam All-Conference honors. Spencer currently lives in Annapolis, MD and enjoys spending time and playing lacrosse with his two kids, Spencer and Brody.

Jon Kemezis

Jonathan Kemezis of Severna Park, MD, is the Bayhawks’ Vice President of Finance. He graduated from DeMatha Catholic High School in 1996 and earned both his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Bachelor of Science in Finance from University of Maryland, College Park in 2001. In 1998, Jonathan was a member of the University of Maryland ACC Championship lacrosse team and national runner-up team. In 2001, he went on to win the Lacrosse Scholar-Athlete Award. Among his many hobbies of movies, music, and lacrosse, Jonathan enjoys spending time with friends and his wife Christie and kids, Connor and Kendall.

Lindsey Burns

Lindsey Burns, Director of Operations and Public Relations for the Chesapeake Bayhawks, is originally from Kennett Square, PA. She attended Padua Academy in Wilmington, DE, where she was captain of the varsity swim team, and then went on to graduate in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Washington College. During her time at Washington College, Lindsey was a board member of the Alpha Chi Omega Sorority and studied abroad in the Netherlands, while also actively participating in intramural sports.  Currently living in Baltimore, MD, Lindsey enjoys traveling, being active, and spending time with friends.

Dave May

David May comes to the Bayhawks after working in Minor League Baseball specifically for the Elmore Sports Group for two and a half years.  With the Inland Empire 66ers Dave was the Corporate Groups Manager where he worked with local businesses and planned group outings for them as well as handled the sales of the Luxury Suites.  Prior to he started as the Community Groups Manager where he handled all the fundraisers, churches, schools and Little League teams in San Bernardino, CA.   Dave started his career in sports with the Colorado Springs Sky Sox where he was a Group Sales Assistant, and played an integral role in the Group Sales Department hit their $1,000,000 goal.   Dave graduated from Wilmington University in 2009 with a degree in Sports Management, and is originally from Newark, Delaware.

Andrew Sclama, Senior Sales Executive for the Chesapeake Bayhawks, graduated from Boston College in 2005 with a Bachelor’s Degree in History. A Baltimore native, Andrew attended the Gilman School and now resides in Washington, DC.  As an avid sports fan, he has been working with the Bayhawks since the beginning of the 2006 Major League Lacrosse Season. Andrew has also served on the US Lacrosse - Potomac Chapter board since 2007. During his free time, Andrew enjoys playing in a local ice hockey league and spending time with family and friends.
