After the Bayhawks claimed him off waivers, Poillon played in two games, netting seven goals.
Poillon was drafted by the Boston Cannons in the third round (20th overall) of the 2009 MLL Collegiate Draft.
The midfielder spent his first two collegiate seasons at Howard Community College in Columbia, MD, where he earned NJCAA All-American honors both years before transferring to Ohio State. As a junior for the Buckeyes, he earned honorable mention USILA All-American honors after netting 32 goals and eight assists. Poillon then transferred to the Univeristy of Maryland-Baltimore County for his final season, where he totaled a team-best 47 points (26 goals, 21 assists) in 16 games.
Poillon is in his first season as a volunteer assistant coach for the University of Delaware men's lacrosse team, and also is the owner of Low and Away Lacrosse Camps and Clinics. In his free time he enjoys doing anything outdoors or watching his favorite movies, "Remember the Titans" and "Good Will Hunting."
