Pro Experience (Chesapeake Bayhawks) Ben was assigned to the Bayhawks in 2009 during MLL Player Reallocation. He has played in 19 games for the Hawks recording 18 goals and 17 assists totaling 35 points, and adding 17 ground balls. (Long Island Lizards) Ben was drafted 14th overall by the Long Island Lizards in the 2008 MLL Collegiate Draft. He played in 10 games for the Lizards recording 13 goals and 4 assists totaling 17 points and adding 18 ground balls. College:
A four year starter at the University of Virginia, Ben was one of the nation’s top players, rated No. 3 by Inside Lacrosse. He was a finalist for the 2007 Tewaarton Trophy, two-time team captian, and finished as the 6th all-time leading scorer in UVA history with 212 points. He was twice named to the All-ACC Academic men’s,the ACC Honor Roll three times, was a USILA 1st Team All-American. High School Ben was a four year letter winner in lacrosse at Loyola Blakefield High School in Baltimore Maryland. He was a two-time All-Metro, All-City, All-County, and All-State. He was also named All-American and awarded the C. Markaland Kelly Award as Maryland's Best Player. Ben was also a member of the National Honors Society, and won Loyola's Troy Vance Memorial Scholarship for athletics, academics, and community service.
