Pro Experience (Chesapeake Bayhawks) Hunt was drafted 28th overall by the Bayhawks in the 2009 MLL Collegiate Draft. He has played in 14 games with the Bayhawks logging 22 goals, 4 two-pointers, and 4 assists totaling 32 points, and adding 11 ground balls. College Ben played college lacrosse at the University of North Carolina where he recorded 65 goals and 31 assists totaling 96 points. He also logged 92 ground balls, and was named NCAA player of the week, 1st Team All-ACC, 3rd Team USILA All-American, All-NCAA Tournement, and the Turnbull Trophy winner as the team's Most Valuable Player. High School Ben attended Severna Park High School, where he was a standout on the lacrosse and football fields. He led his lacrosse team to a state title in 2004, and was named 1st Team All-County, 1st Team All-Metro, and 2nd Team All-State. He was also Offensive MVP, All-County, and Honorable Mention All-Metro and All-State on the football team. Ben was a member of the National Honors Society and Leadership Institute. Personal Ben was born on March, 17 1987 to Geoff and Ellen Hunt in Annapolis Md. He graduated from the University of North Carolina with a degree in Communication Studies. |
