2008 Season (WASHINGTON): Played in 12 games during his 8th season as a Bayhawk...recorded 30 ground balls...won five out of twelve face off attempts. 2004 Season (BALTIMORE): Played in nine games and made nine starts...recorded 18 ground balls...started on defense in home opener loss against Boston and recorded one ground ball...registered two ground balls against Rochester on June 13 and at Philadelphia on June 19...recorded three ground balls in loss to Rochester on July 10...started in both games against Long Island and tallied six ground balls against the Lizards. 2003 Season (BALTIMORE): Played in the last ten games of the regular season after missing the season opener with an injury…took three shots…credited with first assist of the season on a Tom Marechek goal in the second half of the Bayhawks' 20-16 victory over New Jersey…made start at Boston on June 14…recorded season-high five groundballs in overtime victory over Cannons…started in place of injured Brian Reese against New Jersey on June 26, recording two groundballs…came off the bench in both of the Bayhawks' postseason games. 2002 Season (BALTIMORE): Appeared in 12 games…scored three goals, including a goal in the final regular season game against New Jersey…scooped up 27 groundballs…grabbed team-high four loose balls at Long Island on July 14 and three against Boston on July 6 at Cawley Stadium…called for two penalties. 2001 Season (BALTIMORE): Came off the bench for the Bayhawks as a long pole defenseman in his first MLL season…scored his first professional goal off a Greg McCavera assist in the second quarter of Bayhawks' 14-10 victory over Long Island…selected by the Bayhawks as the 15th overall pick in the 2001 MLL Collegiate Draft. College: Second-team All-American defenseman at Johns Hopkins University as a senior…guided the Blue Jays to two national semifinal appearances…graduated with a degree in psychology.
Personal: Currently serves as Defensive Coordinator at Towson University…has guided Towson to consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances and Colonial Athletic Association titles…Also coached at Princeton University for three years…Princeton went to the NCAA Division I semifinals in 2002 and 2004 under his tutelage…enjoys fly-fishing in his spare time…other hobbies include watching Professional Bull Riding and disproving scientific laws and theories…active in US Lacrosse's pledge drives…father, Lon, competed for Canton Tech as a freshman…one of two sons born to Lon and Cathy Nadelen…older brother, Chris, played lacrosse at Nazareth College and won two national championships…wife, Mary, is an athletic trainer at Towson University. |
