Pro Experience (Chesapeake Bayhawks) Cinosky was aquired by the Bayhawks in a trade with the Toronto Nationals in December of 2009. He has played in 12 games with the Bayhawks and has recorded 16 ground balls. (Toronto Nationals) Cinosky started the 2009 season with the Toronto Nationals where he played in 14 games and recorded 3 assists, and 27 ground balls. (New Jersey Pride) Cinosky was selected 9th overall by the New Jersey Pride in the 2008 Collegiate Draft. He played in 11 games with the Pride recording 3 goals, and 34 ground balls.
College Cinosky was a 3 year starter at the University of Maryland, tallying 1 goal, 1 assist, 69 ground balls, and 44 caused turnovers from 2005-2007. He collected numerous accolades with the Terps including the 2005 Levitt Memorial Award as the team's best freshman, 2007 and 2008 Preseason Honorable Mention All-American, 2007 Tewaarton Preseason Watch List, and 2008 Team Captain.
High School Joe played high school lacrosse at Mountain Lakes High School in New Jersey, where he was a 3 time All-State selection, 2 time New Jersey Defenseman of the Year, and 2 time US Lacrosse All-American. He also led his lacrosse and football teams to New Jersey State Championships.
Personal Joe Cinosky was born to John and Ann Cinosky in Boonton Township, NJ. He graduated from the University of Maryland in 2008 with a degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice. |
