Pro Experience
(Chesapeake Bayhawks) Michael was drafted 2ndoverall by the Bayhawks in the 2010 MLL Collegiate Draft. He played in 9 games with the Bayhawks in the 2010 season recording 8 goals and 7 assists totaling 15 points and adding 5 ground balls.
College Kimmel was a four year starter at John’s Hopkins University where he was named 1stand 2ndTeam USILA All-American. He was only the third midfielder in Hopkins history to net 30 points in all four years with the Blue Jays. Michael recorded 74 goals and 69 assists totaling 143 points and adding 110 ground balls in 64 games at Hopkins, and helped the Jays to a NCAA National Championship in 2007.
High School Kimmel was a 3 time letter winner at Loyola where he recorded 84 goals and 91 assists totaling 175 points. He was named 2 time All-Metro and All-MIAA, and USILA and Under Armour All-American as a senior.
Personal
Michael was born on October 10th, 1987 in Towson Md, to Peter and Patty Kimmel. He graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 2010 with a degree in Writing Seminars.
