Pro Experience Devore was selected 32nd overall by the Chesapeake Bayhawks in the 2010 Collegiate Draft.
College Sam Devore played in 62 games at Johns Hopkins University, starting in every game of his junior and senior seasons. He recorded 62 ground balls, and 41 caused turnovers. Devore also helped Johns Hopkins to a National Championship in 2007.
High School Devore attended Ward Melville High School in Suffolk County New York, where he helped the lacrosse team to 3 county championship apperances. He earned All-League honors as a sophomore, All-County honors as a junior, and Honorable Mention All-American honors as a senior. Sam also earned 2 varsity letters in volleyball where he helped to the team to a county championship and won All-League honors.
Personal Sam was born on January 12, 1988 to Bill and Laurie Devore. Devore graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 2010 with a degree in Political Science. |
