CHESAPEAKE BAYHAWKS (CB):       What have you been doing in the off-season to prepare for this summer?

MIKE EVANS (ME):   Throwing monster truck tires across the field and eating full chickens.

CB:       What motivates you to stay in the league and give your all every weekend in the summer?

ME:    I love the game of lacrosse and because I love the fans in the Chesapeake area and they deserve nothing less

CB:       How did you first get involved in the sport of lacrosse? Who, if anyone, inspired you to start playing?

ME:    I played football ever since I was little and by playing defense in lacrosse you still get to hit people, so it worked out. Both of my parents were athletes in high school and college so they always supported me being active and playing a bunch of sports when I was younger.

CB:       Outside of lacrosse, what are you passionate about?

ME:    I’m passionate about caring for my family and friends - helps me put things in perspective.

CB:       What is your favorite weekend activity?

ME:    Honestly, it might be just lying around relaxing on the couch. My week is usually pretty hectic so I don’t get much downtime.
